Cedar Valley Suns Fall to Richland Ducks
Lancaster - The Suns played Richland Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Unfortunately, the Sun's baseball team couldn't pull through for the series against the Richland Ducks.
The Suns started off the first game putting up the first run on the scoreboard! During the game, Ethan Box and Peyton Starr each had one RBI. Breydon English did well on the mound with three strikeouts! Kevin Chapman had a great game on the mound with a total of four strikeouts! Peyton Starr had an RBI, and Michael Buckley had a SAC fly during the game. For the last game of the series, the Suns put up a fight against Richland. Antonio Sabala had a home run and five RBI's! Carson Mills had four RBI's and Cooper Brewer had one. Sabala and Michael Buckley each had two stolen bases! Unfortunately, all that wasn't enough to pull through that game.
Monday, March 7, the Suns traveled to Hill College. The Suns put up a fight, but it was a tough loss. Joshua Martinez lead the team with three strikeouts. Tyler Duron, Ethan Foster, Ryan Talley, and Carson Mills each had one RBI.
The Suns start a series with Mountain View on March 9th, 11th, 12th.
