Suns Win Nail Biter over Northlake
Lancaster - After two impressive games on Tuesday, February 22nd and Sunday, February 27th the Suns beat Northlake resulting in a 6-game winning streak!
For the Conference opener, the Suns pulled through and won 12-11 in the bottom of the ninth. #44 Peyton Starr had four hits, including the walk-off hit in the bottom of the ninth. Tyler Duron, #15, followed right behind Starr with three hits and two RBIs. Ethan Box, Antonio Sabala, Samuel Massi, Cooper Brewer, and Michael Buckley each had two hits!
On Sunday, February 27th the Suns won 6-4 against Northlake. Juan Rosa-Gonzalez, Ethan Box, Cooper Brewer, Michael Buckley all had two RBIs. Ethan Box also hit a home run, resulting in the Sun's win!
The Suns fell short on Monday, February 28th against Northlake 8-7 L.
The Suns look to bounce back from Monday's loss as they face Houston Christian College Tuesday, March 1st at 12 PM & 2:30 PM CST.
