Megan O'Neal was named an assistant coach with Dallas College Cedar Valley's volleyball program in June 2026.

O'Neal served the 2025 season as a volunteer coach with the Suns. That year, the Suns won their first Dallas Athletic Conference match in three years. The Suns won three matches, and bowed out in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South District quarterfinals. Two Cedar Valley players collected Second Team All-DAC honors. 

O'Neal played at East Texas Baptist University when Suns head coach Courtney Willis was a graduate assistant coach with the Tigers in 2021. O'Neal spent one year at Dallas College North Lake as a sophomore in 2022. She earned First Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference with the Blazers.
