Peter, Reyna Collect DAC Player of Week Honors

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Cedar Valley's Victory Oyoyo Peter and Olivia Reyna have been named the Dallas Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Players of the Week.  

Oyoyo Peter is the league's Player of the Week, while Reyna repeated as the DAC Goalkeeper of the Week. 

Oyoyo Peter, a sophomore forward from Irving, scored the gamewinning goal in the 86th minute in the Suns' 1-0 victory at Arkanasas Cossatot. It was her team-leading fifth point of the season. 

Reyna, a sophomore from Houston, made seven saves in posting back-to-back shutouts for the Suns. She stopped a penalty kick in the 15th minute to help the Suns remain unbeaten. 

Cedar Valley (2-0-1) opens DAC play at Dallas College Eastfield 6 p.m. Friday.
