Hernandez Named DAC Offensive Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Cedar Valley's Victoria Hernandez has been named the Dallas Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

A sophomore forward from Ennis, Texas, Hernandez had two goals in a pair of victories for the Suns last week. She scored the gamewinning goal in Cedar Valley's 2-1 win at No. 9 Dallas College Richland to open conference play. She also scored in the Suns' 2-0 win at Arlington Baptist University. Hernandez's goal against Richland helped Cedar Valley for the first time since 2010.

Hernandez leads Cedar Valley with three goals.

The Suns (3-1-0, 1-0-0 DAC) will host Dallas College Brookhaven (2-2-1, 0-0-1) at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
