Carpenter Collects Third Team All-America Honor
NJCAA DIII BASEBALL ALL-AMERICANS
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College Cedar Valley's Hayden Carpenter was named a Third Team All-American by the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Baseball selection committee.
Carpenter, a freshman outfielder from Magnolia, Texas, hit .382 with 11 home runs, 18 doubles, 63 runs batted in, three stolen bases, a .632 slugging percentage and .471 on-base percentage. Two of his home runs, including a grand slam and a walk-off came in a win over Dallas Athletic Conference champion and national runner-up Dallas College Eastfield.
He ranked 11th in the country in RBI and 12th in homers and hits (78), while finishing ninth in total bases (129).
Carpenter was a First Team All-DAC selection on a team that went 31-26, advancing to the NJCAA Division III South Central District Tournament opening round.
