Daniel Quintanilla Commits to the University of Mary
The CVC Athletic Department is proud to announce that Daniel Quintanilla has committed to further his education and baseball career at the University of Mary.
Quintanilla has had a storied career in his two seasons at CVC. In his freshman year with the Suns, he was part of the record-breaking 37-win team in 2017 with All-Metro Athletic Conference recognition and followed that up with another All-MAC Team selection and All-NJCAA Region V honors at designated hitter in his sophomore year.
The Garland native leaves Cedar Valley with career totals of 117 hits, 80 RBIs, 79 runs, 26 doubles, seven home runs, with a batting average of .386.
The University of Mary is a four-year institution in Bismark, ND, that competes in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and is NCAA Division II sanctioned.
